Smokey Beginnings
Our story began in 2018 while hanging out in our garage with our family and friends finding something to pass the time. Being fabricators, we gathered a trailer here, some sheet metal there and fabricated our original smoker, “Big Woody”.
Big Woody is approximately 18’ long x 5’ wide and 7’ tall with a pig spit at one end and racks in the other. This is where the fun began and so did the weight gain!! Every weekend we would try out new recipes and invite our friends and family over to test taste. Football Sundays were no longer just pizza and wings.
After acknowledging our friends excitement to see what was going to be the next sample, we decided to see how our small town of Mifflinville would rank our smoked sandwiches, ribs and bacon mac & cheese, during our annual community yard sale. We were the talk of the town!
This just made us more ambitious to see where this could go. We found ourselves a food trailer accompanied with its own smoker. We were off to New York to start this little adventure in our already crazy lives!!
